Hospital Staff
A native Manhattanite, Licensed Veterinary Technician Maria Del Pilar Silva joined the Urban Vets staff in May 2007. A 10-year veteran in the animal care field, Maria attended Laguardia Community College, where she received her Associate's Degree in Animal Science in 2000.
At home, Maria can be found teaching tricks to her pets: Star, a pitbull; Osito, a Pekinese-Chihuahua mix, and Cosita, a cat. Maria also enjoys puzzle solving and crafting new things.
